CCHHS, JOIN and Chamber join forces to coordinate Job Fair June 14th.
The February Job Fair at the Senior Center proved to be so needed and so popular that Lynn Ellis of the Carson City Health & Human Services department is again leading the charge to coordinate another successful event partnering with JOIN and the Chamber. The June 14th event will take place in the gymnasium of the Community Center to allow more room for all attendees and to accommodate additional employers. The February event brought together 36 employers and 619 job seekers resulting in over 43 job seekers now employed.
The June 14th event will allow up to 50 employers to participate -- on a first come, first serve basis. The event is free to both employer and job seeker and will be held for three hours between 2-5 p.m.
