Young Business Professionals

The Carson City Chamber Young Business Professionals is a Chamber program for those between the age of 21-40 designed to introduce young professionals to the art of networking in social settings as well as providing opportunities for self-improvement.  All YBP members are members of the Chamber through their place of business or through their own business.  Membership is free and meetings are held monthly at various venues throughout the city.

Your YBP committee has just met to outline events for 2012 and the first two are sure to be winners! It should be
a great year and we hope to see you at many of the events and bring others who might enjoy our program and
networking with other young professionals.

January 24 - 8 a.m.
Come join the new general manager and fellow YBP member of the
Hampton Inn in North Carson City for Breakfast (and that includes make your own waffles!)
Tour this beautiful award-winning hotel and hear about the impact of hotels on economic development

A great opportunity to see your state senate in action.
No, this is not a legislative year, but we invite you to join the Leadership groups from
Reno and Carson City as they participate in a private simulation of how the senate works when
in session. This will be a fun and educational event followed by a Qdoba luncheon. Cost to be determined (approx $10 pp)
Reservation a must prior to January 25th.
