Carson City Business Supply Assistance

The State of Nevada allocated $10.2 Million to Carson City from the Coronavirus Relief Fund through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Funding from the Coronavirus Relief Fund will help Carson City cover the immediate impacts of the COVID-19 emergency and its continued response and recovery efforts. Economic effects have been significant, and city schools, hospitals, long-term care facilities, non-profits and businesses need funding assistance to facilitate compliance with public health measures. As a result, on August 5, 2020, the Carson City Board of Supervisors approved the City’s Plan of Expenditure which included $1 million dollars to be used to purchase personal protective equipment and sanitation supplies for citywide distribution to ensure the safety of public employees, hospital employees, businesses, patrons, adults, and children. For more information and to fill your request go to: https://carson.org/ppe
