Every generation has its strengths – and quirks – depending on your personal generational point of view.
In daily global society, about four to five distinct generational age cohorts (such as Greatest Generation, Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z) are typically alive and active simultaneously.
We plan to uncover the strengths and weaknesses of and the importance each generation brings to the workplace and our society at our Soup’s On! luncheon scheduled at the Casino Fandango on October 14th. Hive Leadership Consulting president Jess McIntosh is our featured presenter and will have us looking around our workplace with a new perspective.

A fun fact: As of 2026, there are eight named generational cohorts coexisting globally. While definitions can vary slightly depending on the demographic firm, social scientists—including the Pew Research Center and McCrindle Research—generally define the living population through these distinct groups:
