Within each class, there are usually a few who are passionate about a project. We’ve had veterinarians who helped guide the class toward sprucing up the animal shelter. We’ve had those who wanted to assist our children in learning, thus creating a science center. Those who continue to honor the service personnel who have died, rebuilt a memorial at Lone Mountain Cemetery in their honor. The class of 2014, took history as their theme creating a history walk among our forefathers at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Bees captured the attention of the class of 2019, and the Class of 2020 continued to build trails started by the beekeepers!
Every leadership project is important and IS an important component of leadership, for it creates leaders, makes a difference in our community, and brings classmates together toward common shared goal.
The value to the recipient of the project is priceless.
